What I really need is something that I can cross reference when I am color picking. Digital painting programs are wonderful, but their color selection tool are clearly not created with the color blind in mind. If I could have some way of checking that yellow really is yellow (for example) I would be a much happier me.

It’s a little bit of a pain in the ass, but what I like to do is find something I KNOW is the color I want (e.g. Man in the Yellow Hat from Curious George), then use the color dropper and create a file for JUST that color. :)
