Hasbro Children's Hospital Drive from The Allspark
I wouldn’t normally use this place for promotion, but this is a good cause and I want to see it succeed. I’m part of The Allspark, an excellent Transformers-oriented fan-site and we’ve been running a yearly charity drive for the Hasbro Children’s Hospital.  Last year we donated nearly $6,400, which was matched by the CEO of Hasbro for a whopping total of $12,800. Needless...

I would like to point out that, with a few lines describing the nature of Doctor Who since Season 5, this man has totally changed my perspective on Moffat’s vision of Who. This isn’t the first time he’s done this either.  His penchant for putting different perspectives into unbiased terms has more than once helped me to understand something that I did not quite get. We could...

I’ve always wondered why the existence of God (or a god) is always tied up in Christianity (or religion in general). It seems a bit odd that our notion of a higher being is dependent on these clearly flawed systems. It’s like trying to talk about the nature of light, while still insisting on the aether as our model for space.

The American Government.
Casey Anthony: So it's kind of obvious that I either killed my kid or knew about it and don't give a fuck lol.
Court: Sounds good. You're free to go.
OJ Simpson: So after being found not guilty for killing my wife, I wrote a book about doing it. That's kinda just slapping it in your face that I did it and you let me go.
Court: Nah, I know you're a good guy.
Teenagers: I can't really afford CDs or iTunes, so I download my music so that I can have it-
Court: How dare you breathe?

Not-So-Random Thoughts
PIPA, SOPA, it is not a question of if they would fail, but only a question of when.  Such attempts at blanket control, especially of a people who have tasted freedom, are never going to be successful, if for no other reason than humanity cannot be indefinitely subdued.  Freedom is an innate desire, built into our very being.  It cannot be wholly removed or suppressed.  Countless times throughout...
